Cricket Australia
Cricket Australia is the national governing body for cricket in Australia. It is made up
of six member associations representing the six States of Australia:
• Cricket New South Wales;
• Queensland Cricket;
• South Australian Cricket Association;
• Tasmanian Cricket Association;
• Cricket Victoria; and
• Western Australian Cricket Association.
The Australian Capital Territory Cricket Association and the Northern Territory Cricket Association Cricket Association are non-member associations.
Cricket Australia is a full member of the international governing body for cricket, the International Cricket Council (the ICC) and, as a signatory to the ICC’s Future Tours Program, is responsible for organising and hosting Test, One Day and Twenty20 Internationals with other member nations, and scheduling the international Australian fixtures.
Cricket Australia’s other key responsibilities include managing Australian teams at the international level, administering the country's premier domestic interstate competitions, the Weet-Bix Sheffield Shield, KFC Big Bash, Ford Ranger Cup and Women’s National Cricket League, and overseeing all cricket development activity from the game's highest level through to its grassroots.
Cricket Australia has partnered with the Australian commercial television network, the Nine Network, to produce world class coverage of cricket internationals played in Australia under the auspices of Cricket Australia since 1977 through to the present day.
Cricket.com.au is the official site of Cricket Australia and the Australian Cricket Team.
